Jennifer Gennari is a writer, editor, and activist. She's a former journalist, and she writes a monthly book review column for her local newspaper. Her poems have appeared in Marin Poetry Center Anthology, GlassFire Magazine, and the Poetry Farmers Almanac.
> A native of New England, she now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and works for Greenbelt Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting open space and promoting vibrant urban places. Jennifer loves to swim and kayak. She's a graduate of Vassar College, the University of Vermont, and the Vermont College MFA program. She is shopping around two novels for children and young adults.
