Kris Neri's latest title is
Revenge for Old Time's Sake, the third book in her Agatha, Anthony and Macavity Award-nominated Tracy Eaton mystery series, featuring mystery writer, detective
wannabe and the offspring of eccentric Hollywood stars, Tracy Eaton. Also recently published, was the first book in her new paranormal mystery series, High
Crimes on the Magical Plane, a Lefty Award nominee for Best Humorous Mystery, featuring fake psychic Samantha Brennan and genuine Celtic goddess/ FBI agent,
Annabelle Haggerty.
Kris also published Never Say Die, a stand-alone thriller,
and The Rose in the Snow: Tales of Mischief and Mayhem, a short story collection. She has published
nearly sixty stories, and is a two-time Derringer Award winner and a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee for her short fiction.
She is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America (MWA), The American Crime Writers League, as well as Arizona Authors and the
Society of Southwest Authors. She is a past president of the Los Angeles chapter of Sisters in Crime and a past board member of the SoCal chapter of MWA.
Kris teaches writing for the Writers' Program of the UCLA Extension School, and is one of its highest-rated instructors. Two of her former students
produced a mystery writing DVD with her, Writing Killer Mysteries with Kris Neri, which is based on her UCLA course. And with her husband,
she is owns The Well Red Coyote bookstore in Sedona, Arizona.
