Loretta Sylvestre

Loretta Sylvestre grew up barefoot and city-wild in Los Angeles County California, and now makes her home on the rainy side of Washington State, where tales grow as tall as old growth firs. She graduated from Evergreen State College, having written a lot while studying music, mental health, and cultural studies. She lives with a cat, Boudreau, and earns the money for his food and his hobbies (such as collecting poneytail holders) by working as a civil servent. She also works as an editor of horror fiction.

Loretta writes a lot--because she loves it, because she's serious about it, and because she can't seem to stop. She loves to read, too, and leaves books in her path like a trail of crumbs. She blogs a bit and you can find her on Facebook and MySpace. She administrates another blog, Worlds Well Written.
