Sunny Frazier has been publishing both fiction and nonfiction since 1972. She is a Navy veteran, earned a BA in Journalism, and wrote for a Central Valley newspaper. She joined the Fresno County Sheriff's Department and worked with an undercover narcotics team during her 17 year career.
Sunny's short mystery fiction has won more than 35 awards and trophies, as well as publication in mystery magazines. Her short fiction can be found in four anthologies: Valley Fever: Where Murder Is Contagious; Seven By Seven: The Seven Deadly Sins Anthology; Gone Coastal; and Never Safe. Her first novel, Fools Rush In: A Christy Bristol Astrology Mystery, was published by Wolfmont Publishing in December, 2006. The plot is based on the first case she worked with the narcotic team, as well as 35 years of charting horoscopes. It won the PSWA Award for Best Novel in 2007.
Sunny is a member of the Central Coast Chapter of Sisters in Crime, Kings County Writers' Group, as well as the Public Safety Writers' Association. She currrently resides in Lemoore, CA.
